With its articulated body and head, the Biscay Shad swims with a realistic action that is significantly enhanced compared to most other lures.
The super flexible body is attached to the head by a free-swinging screw and a VMC® hook that remains perfectly hidden inside the soft body.
When struck, the body collapses, and the large hook gap is exposed for a clean hookset.
This weighted head and body combination allows for longer casting in windy conditions and faster fishing in choppy waters or when an aggressive presentation is needed.
The deep shad design of the Biscay Shad rolls and flashes from side to side at all speeds, and the weedless design lets you fish confidently even in grassy or rocky areas where predatory fish often hunt.
Each Biscay Shad is visually detailed with each body color perfectly matched to its jig head.
Both the bodies and jig heads are also sold separately.
