This extremely robust reel was designed to take on powerful fish in tough conditions, both at sea and in freshwater.
Its monocoque aluminum body is lightweight yet durable, capable of maintaining internal mechanics even under heavy strain. It features an Airdrive Rotor, a new technology that minimizes inertia without compromising strength. This rotor is made from ZAION V, a carbon-based composite exclusive to Daiwa.
The Ballistic HD is perfectly suited for casting to large saltwater or freshwater predators such as albacore, barracuda, pike, asp, or even large freshwater perch. Designed for power, durability, and reliability, it is the ideal companion for those seeking high performance in the most challenging situations.
