BARROS STOUT SPW 5000

Clearly designed for saltwater fishing, the STOUT SPW reels were developed for the toughest work in fishing for large specimens, managing to combine minimum weight with the robustness required in reels for extreme fishing. Designed for jigging fishing, these reels, with an aluminium body with no torsion, have been tested in fishing for jacks, mackerel, croakers, anchovies and large sea bass. What is truly revolutionary is the introduction of small sizes (5000 and 6000), so that float and coastal spinning fishermen can count on a reliable partner, light, robust, corrosion-resistant and with excellent line winding on the spool. The weight reduction is largely due to the new hybrid zinc and aluminium crown wheel system, embedded in a stainless steel shaft. In sizes 6000 and 7000 the brake has been eliminated, with a slower recovery speed for greater strength and effort savings.
