This tapered 'rat's tail' leader is specially designed for long distance surfcasting. The hook link tapers down from a high diameter of 0.57mm - to absorb the pressure of the cast - to a lower diameter which can be easily knotted to the mainline. Technically-minded competition and pleasure anglers alike will note the discretion of the translucent colour.
